I'm much happier for my son living in his sleepout attached to the garage that there is now a heat alarm in the garage interconnected with the smoke alarm in his room to warn him if things go south. Similarly our main house now has a heat alarm in the kitchen and smoke alarms in all the bedrooms all interconnected. Installation was easy and no false alarms so far. My only regret is that I could have also purchased a remote to make hush and test easier!
Prompt delivery and the interconnectable alarms were easy to configure and install. We haven't tested them in an actual fire and don't intend to but we can say that none of the alarms have yet generated a false alarm, including the heat alarms in the kitchen and garage.

I was worried about putting in a linked system... however after reading the simple instructions it was an easy experience.
The only thing missing was a further description on testing the alarms after installation.... that you test just one alarm to test the network.... simple.
