Weber Rescue – E-FORCE battery tools for more speed and flexibility

Weber Rescue Systems is proud to present a new series of battery-driven rescue tools. The next generation of E-FORCE tools benefit from new and innovative technical features for even more efficient use. The two most significant improvements are the new drive with intelligent switching technology and a new connection point for converting hose-connected tools to battery-operated rescue equipment.

Speed control: more speed through switching technology

Due to the newly developed switching valve the new E-FORCE rescue system is always in the maximum possible speed range, comparable to a two-step automatic transmission that always uses the optimum gear. Comparative tests have shown that the new Weber Rescue battery tools increase the working speed by at least 25%, depending on the application, meaning the rescue tool is even faster. In addition to the switching valve, the basic speed of the new E-FORCE tools is once again noticeably increased in comparison to the previous generation.

X-Change: new connection point for more flexibility

Furthermore, the new generation of hose cutters, spreaders and combi tools by Weber Rescue can be converted to E-FORCE3 battery-powered devices at any time via a new connection point. ‘This is an absolute unique feature on the market for now and means more flexible decision-making when it comes to procurement,’ says Peter Huemer, Export Manager of Weber Rescue Systems.

You can easily update from hose tools to battery technology in only a few steps. The conversion must be completed by a Weber Rescue-certified workshop and is considerably more affordable than buying a new tool.

Due to the new connection point it is possible to change the drive easily and economically.

Further improvements to the E-FORCE series include a 360° rotatable and foldable handle made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic that requires minimal space during use and storage. This plastic handle with an optimised gripping surface is placed on all Weber Rescue cutters and combi tools whereas the handling of the new spreaders is much easier due to a new wrap-round handle. The foldable handle on the cutters and spreaders additionally isolates the operator even at voltages of up to 1,000 volts.

All new battery tools have additional LED lighting to the front and rear which ensures that the work area is evenly illuminated. All control elements of the rescue equipment are distinctive and striking in red.

The new cutters, spreaders and combi tools of the E-FORCE3 series are complemented by a diverse range of accessories. The used battery also fits the existing power tool range from Milwaukee and Würth. This means that tools such as battery-driven saws along with rescue tools by Weber Rescue can be operated with one and the same battery and charger. The same battery is also used by various manufacturers of firefighting equipment such as PPV fans, lighting units, etc.
