For some time PSL have been following the good works undertaken by the Children’s Burn Support Group (http://www.burns.org.nz) in New Zealand.
It is a charitable trust administered by volunteers with no funding from Government, their focus is to assist children (and their families) who have survived burns to re-integrate into normal life after what could have been a long and difficult hospital confinement.
As you can imagine they are stretched and have a huge workload, there is on average a New Zealand child admitted to hospital every day with burns.
