Do your fire extinguishers meet NZ standards?

Yes, all our fire extinguishers meet New Zealand and Australian standards, apart from the small 03.kg fire extinguisher, which is not required to meet standards.

Do you install, service or offer compliance for fire extinguishers?

No, we only import extinguishers into the market; we cannot offer advice on where to position fire extinguishers or what size/type of extinguisher to have. We do, however, offer extensive informational material on the website. You will need to contact a compliance company that can provide this advice.

I ordered a 9L Water extinguisher, but it arrived empty.

To save on shipping costs, we send our 9L water extinguishers empty. When they arrive, fill the cylinder with regular tap water using the instructions included, which are also on the website.

What type of extinguishers do I need to buy?

However, we strongly recommend you get advice from your local compliance company. Having the incorrect type/size of extinguisher may affect your insurance coverage.

Yes, Fire extinguishers expire 5 years after their manufacture date, which is stamped into the cylinder.
