SOLBERG® FIRE-BRAKE PLUS Class A Foam

SOLBERG® FIRE-BRAKE PLUS™ foam concentrate is specially formulated to make water more effective for fire fighting. SOLBERG FIRE-BRAKE PLUS is a budget conscious Class A foam concentrate that compares favorably with other less concentrated Class A foam products.

The unique combination of surfactants significantly reduces water’s surface tension and, when mixed with air, creates a foam blanket that surrounds fuels with a thick layer of water. This creates a barrier between the fuel and the fire, knocking down the fire faster than water alone, and allows fire fighters to see the areas of application. Making the water more effective reduces the amount of water needed to extinguish the fire reducing water damage and increases fire fighter safety through quicker knockdown and reduced mopup/overhaul requirements. SOLBERG FIRE-BRAKE PLUS contains NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS, is non corrosive, non-toxic, readily biodegradable, and has no flash point.

SOLBERG FIRE-BRAKE PLUS Class A foam concentrate does not contain PFAS chemicals including, but not limited to, PFOS or PFOA. Fluorinated surfactants are used in Class B foam concentrates and are necessary to form a film on flammable liquid fires. Class B foams should not be used on Class A fires. Never mix Class A and Class B foam concentrates.
